Grace Darling Museum

The children in Pink and Blue classes enjoyed their visit to Bamburgh as part of their learning about Grace Darling.  The children visited the Grace Darling Museum and took part in a workshop where they re-enacted Grace’s heroic rescue.  They also visited Grace’s memorial and the church where Grace is depicted in a special stained glass window.  After lunch, the children enjoyed an ice cream from the ice cream shop which was once Grace Darling’s home.  After some play time, it was time to get back on the bus and head back to school
