Nursery Hedgehog Bread Baking!

Inspired by the story 'The Happy Hedgehog Band', the children in Nursery baked some hedgehog bread. They worked together to count out the ingredients and mix them. They observed how the dough changed as we added water and then kneaded it. They shaped the dough and practised using scissors to add the hedgehog spikes. The children loved seeing how the bread had further changed when it came out of the oven! It smelt delicious and they couldn't wait to eat it at snack time.
