Reception's Chick hatching experience

The children in Reception have spent the first week of the term learning all about the lifecycle of a chick. We had 7 eggs delivered at the beginning of the week and by Thursday morning, we had 7 healthy chicks. The children enjoyed watching the chicks hatch and observed them drying in the incubator, before being moved into a large brooder cage. We all absolutely love watching and cuddling the chicks.
