Science Week - Blue and Pink - Axolotl Habitat

The children in Blue and Pink class learned about what an axolotl is and where they can be found. They looked at their environment and how they are adapted to living life in the water.

They learned that axolotls are endangered and can be kept as pets. They looked at Mrs. Cook's pet axolotl, her habitat, and what she eats.

The children were introduced to their task and used the iPads to create their own axolotl habitat. They tried hard to make sure the habitat had water, plants and places for the axolotls to hide.
