Silly Science

Reception were invited to a silly science workshop with KS1 to celebrate the official Science week. This year we are learning all about adapting and changing.

In the workshop, the children took part in lots of different experiments - some of us even got to help and take part. We learnt all about gravity being the force that pulls objects back to the ground. We learnt about thrust moving the objects through the air and we also learnt that if we take the oxygen away from a fire we can distinguish it. We had to make sure we remembered the three g's when dealing with the fire... gloves, goggles and a grown up. We then made sure we put the fire out quickly so Miss Grey did not get hurt.
